Where Is My Rabbit?

Whoa, it’s been a whole year since I posted anything. Quick update, I graduated from University and am looking for a job/internship, but IT’S HARD. Meanwhile, I’ve spent a few months spamming Hellfire Citadel with a couple of guilds (mostly having fun with the people despite the repetitive content), made my own RPG, and have lately gotten into weight loss and fitness. (That means the next few posts are all going to involve my new HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. o/)

Here’s a situation I wish I’d considered more in all those months of epic DPSing. :P I don’t regret it, but I’m doing something to change that.

Flourless Banana Weet-Bix Pancakes (309cal)

My friend mentioned Weet-Bix and how terrible they are, which made me really excited to try some so I went and got a box!

I haven’t exactly had them plain, but the crumbs I tasted really were rather bland, so I looked up recipes instead. All the Weet-Bix pancake recipes I found involved flour, which I personally find icky to work with, so I threw stuff together and made flourless pancakes \o/


Bolognese Zoodles & Rambles

What a lazy Sunday. Did absolutely nothing other than lie in bed, browse reddit, and eat / prepare food. Ever since I’ve started eating cleaner,  I’m constantly baffled by how few calories there are in so much ‘good’ food.

Like the awesome dinner I just had of bolognese zoodles, salad, pumpkin soup, and acai juice :D I’m stuffed, and I still have another 360 cal to go before reaching today’s budget.


Omelette Rice (348 cals)

Been so obsessed over a game lately I could barely pull myself away from the screen to go to the gym, but about a week of consecutive gaming later I’ve played enough that I can safely put it down without compromising my sanity.

Didn’t stop trying new stuff though! The game (RF4) had me cooking delicious things like flan and omelette rice every in-game day, so eventually I tried to make some myself IRL.

Getting so irritated with Imgur. I’m trying to post food stuff but for some reason it says my pictures don’t exist, despite them loading perfectly on mobile…

Anyway, I figured I’d just jot down some thoughts I’ve had over the past week while too busy gaming to write actual posts.


Toaster Oven Bacon Cups (324 cals)

So everyone and their mom’s done this, but I always thought it was sooo much work to have to (1) cut out circles from slices of bread (2) preheat an entire oven if I only need one serving (3) fry the bacon separately before arranging it in the cup (4) clean everything up.

So I tried it the lazy way with the microwave and toaster oven, and I think it worked!


Tuna Patties/Muffins (90cal)

I’m a meat person. I love most (if not all!) kinds of meat, from chicken to beef to pigeon to venison to lamb to whatever. But that line usually stops at fish. For some reason, unless it’s smoked or sashimi, I don’t really like fish much.

I eat a lot of chicken, but since I sometimes worry about the potential strange hormones/injections/whatever these poor chickens are fed with, I try to vary my protein sources a little.


Short version: It’s delicious and healthy and depending on what you add / how you cook it, it turns out to be like a muffin or a hamburger patty.
